The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina delayed a decision on a land swap with the town of Pembroke in order to get more information.
The town wants to swap 8 acres it owns for 12 the tribe owns. But tribal council members want an appraisal conducted and want to clarify the land ownership.
The town wants the land for a sports complex.
