Bureau of Indian Affairs head Dave Anderson will speak at Haskell Indian Nations University on Friday for the school's commencement.
Anderson will also participate in the opening of a national trust records archive near Haskell. The school is developing an archivist training program as part of the initiative.
Anderson's parents met at Haskell.
