Black and Latino lawmakers in Connecticut are asking state attorney general Richard Blumenthal to end his "all-out war" against the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation.
The General Assembly's Black and Latino Caucus wrote a letter to Blumenthal and held a press conference yesterday. They said he is unfairly targeting the tribe.
Blumenthal is appealing the Bureau of Indian Affairs' decision to recognize the tribe. The case is before the Department of Interior Board of Indian Appeals.
