"Black Cloud", an independent movie about a Navajo boxer, will have its Southern premiere in Nashville, Tennessee, this week.
Actor Rick "Ricky" Schroder approached several tribes to finance the film. He said he was rejected a number of times before finding the $1 million he needed.
The title character of Black Cloud is played by Oglala actor Eddie Spears. Activist/actor Russell Means and country star Tim McGraw also have roles.
