Nike has a unique partnership with the Indian Health Service to address health and fitness among Native Americans.
The company signed a memorandum of understanding with IHS at last year's National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) convention. Nike has been holding workshops to teach health and wellness techniques to tribal health workers.
Sam McCracken, a member of the Fort Peck Tribes of Montana, is promoting the partnership. He is Nike's Native American Business Manager.
