Thousands are expected to attend the 30th annual Denver March Powwow, which kicks off today
Organizers have registered more than 1,000 dancers and 60 drum groups. The three-day event is one of the largest powwows in the country.
The powwow ends on Sunday but on Monday, the Denver Indian Center is sponsoring a Native American Celebration at the Denver Nuggets game against the Lakers.
