The Seminole Nation of Oklahoma is suing its former development authority director and other employees for alleged theft.
The tribe sued Qazi Alam and other John and John Does in tribal court for stealing.
A tribal attorney said the exact amount is not known.
Alam was ousted after the tribe came under fire for violations of federal gaming law.
The National Indian Gaming Commission fined the tribe $11 million and shut down
four casinos for illegal games.
The tribe has been given approval to reopen one casino. Two others are expected to reopen in the next couple of months while a fourth will remain closed.
