A 14-year-old boy from the Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Montana was arrested and taken into custody on Wednesday for the beating death of a man.
Vince "Vinny" Whiteman appeared in tribal court before being handed to county law enforcement.
He will be charged as an adult with deliberate homicide and aggravated assault for
the death of Wayne Evan Not Afraid, 26, and the beating of Floyd Daniel Grant, 25.
The incident took place in Hardin, just outside the reservation, February 6. Whiteman was 13 at the time. Police are looking for Detrich Shoulderblade, 21, who is believed to be on the reservation.
