Michael G. Rossetti, the former counselor to Interior Secretary Gale Norton, is joining the law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, where he will specialize in Indian law and policy matters.
Rossetti played a key role in top decisions affecting the Cobell trust fund lawsuit and gaming compacts. Akin Gump represents the Seneca Nation of New York, one of whose compacts was reviewed by Rossetti and other Interior officials.
