Pauma Tribe uses federal grant to build library

The Pauma Tribe of California is using a federal grant to build a library from the ground up.

The tribe received $250,000 from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services. The money is being used to hire a librarian who is training a tribal member to take over the job. The grant also provides for new equipment at the AA'Alvikat Library.

The library is open every weekday.
