Get ready for pow-wow season in Utah. There are several pow-wows, drum competitions and Indian pageants taking place at Utah universities in the coming months.
First up is the 31st annual Utah State University Native American Student Council American Indian pow-wow. It starts today and runs through tomorrow.
Upcoming events include the 23rd annual Harold A. Cedartree Memorial Pow-Wow March 26-27 at Brigham Young University, a pow-wow and Miss American Indian U. of U. for the 32nd annual Native American Awareness Week at the University of Utah and a fry bread contest
and pageant at the 27th annual American Indian week at Southern Utah University.
