Ex-FBI official sentenced for sexual abuse of minors

The former top watchdog for the FBI was sentenced to 12 years in prison for admitting the sexual abuse of a minor and a history of sexual abuse.

John H. Conditt Jr., 53, ran a unit that investigated FBI wrongdoing. He did not admit to any abuse that may have occurred during his career.

A former agent who alleges that the FBI did not investigate sexual abuse of Indian youth says Conditt's history may be behind the FBI's failure to follow up on her claims.
