The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of Idaho are funneling a portion of tobacco tax revenues to health and education programs on the Fort Hall Reservation.
The tribe began imposing its own tax in November. The money is funding a tobacco prevention program for youth that will also highlight the traditional role of tobacco.
