Members of Washington tribes said the state's timber industry needs to work out agreements to ensure hunting on private forestlands protected by treaty rights.
One company has a hunting access agreement with the Squaxin Island Tribe. But tribal members said they need access to other lands, which are often gated and locked.
Timber industry representatives promised to work with tribes to develop agreements.
