Native students at a high school in New Mexico will be helping a polling company forecast the winner of the presidential election on November 2.
Jonathan Yazzie, Kimberly Miller and Latonya Claw will monitor voting at two schools and a Navajo chapter house. They will work with Edison/Mitofsky to call the results.
New Mexico went to Democrat Al Gore in 2000 by just 366 votes. Republican President George W. Bush and Democrat Sen. John Kerry have made numerous visits to the state in recent months. The state's Indian population is 10.5 percent.
