The Bureau of Indian Affairs police on the Crow Reservation in Montana is taking a new position at central office in Washington, D.C.
Darren Cruzan will be the manager of the 350-member Uniformed Division within the BIA's Office of Law Enforcement Services. He will report to acting OLES director Walt Lamar.
Cruzan, a member of the Miami Tribe from Oklahoma, has spent two years on the reservation. He is credited with reducing crime rates and reaching out to the community.
