Hurricane Frances has forced the evacuation of the Seminole Tribe's Brighton Reservation in Florida.
Elderly members have been transported to the tribe's casino in Tampa while other residents are staying at the hurricane shelter on the reservation or have gone to other locations. The tribe has set up an emergency operations center at its Hollywood Reservation.
Statewide, 2.5 million have been ordered to evacuate as the hurricane is expected to hit the state's east coast. Fifteen counties issued mandatory evacuation orders and three counties recommended evacuation.
Florida is home to the Seminole and Miccosukee tribes.
