The Hopi Tribe of Arizona has dedicated its annul races to a tribal member who won a silver medal in the 1912 Olympics.
Louis Tewanima won the medal in the 10,000-meter run. According to The Arizona Republic, he set a world record that wasn't broken until 1964 Olympics in Tokyo by Billy Mills, an Oglala Lakota tribal member who won the gold for the event.
The races take place on Sunday and are open to the public.
