Some members of the Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe of Nevada are upset that their new administration building will be located off the reservation.
Linda Oxborrow said she and about 40 other members asked the tribal council to consider an on-reservation location. A survey the tribe distributed earlier this year favored the reservation as well.
But the tribal council has decided to build on 36 acres in Fallon. The tribe finalizing bids for an 11,000 square-foot building located next to the tribe's gas station.
