Kyle Yazzie, 18, says he couldn't pass up a chance to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge.
Yazzie, a graduate of Kirtland Central High School in New Mexico, was accepted by Yale. But he said he wanted to go to MIT, the nation's top technical and engineering school.
Your life, your education is what you are willing to put into it," Yazzie told The Farmington Daily Times. "I know MIT will be very challenging, but I do not think I would be satisfied any other way,
Yazzie leaves for Massachusetts this weekend.
