Thank you to all those who came out for our birthday party! And for everyone who wished us well after five years. Indianz.Com is still on the road! [Yes, we drive really slow.] Posting will be light today and tomorrow. We apologize for the withdrawals or any work you might get done. See you next Indian Market!
It's hard to believe but Indianz.Com is turning five this month! We went online back in August 1999 and it's been a fun, crazy ride. We hope you've enjoyed it as much as we have.
To mark the occasion, we will be celebrating our anniversary at the Indian Market in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Why there? It's where we held our official launch party five years ago among friends and family.
So if you're in town on Friday, August 20, stop by for food, tea, prizes and fun as we mark this milestone. This is an all-ages, non-alcoholic event so bring your kids too!
WHERE: Longevity Cafe
112 W San Francisco St
Visit Longevity for more information
WHEN: 8pm-10pm
WHO: Us, You, Anybody Else?
In addition to prizes and gifts to our guests, we are also raffling off a nice Pendleton blanket in support of the efforts of the New Mexico Statuary Hall Foundation to bring a statue of Pope, a San Juan Pueblo leader of the 1680 Pueblo Revolt, to the U.S. Capitol. You can buy tickets all weekend at the Foundation's Indian Market Booth FNB Non-Profit, located in the First National Bank parking lot in the northwest corner of the plaza.
The drawing for the Cochiti Twin Pendleton will be held Sunday, August 22, during a concert performance by Robert Mirabal of Taos Pueblo at the Paramount Nightclub in Santa Fe. The event is a benefit for the Foundation.
Indianz.Com and AllNative.Com are proud to be part of Ho-Chunk Inc., the economic development corporation of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
