First Nations leaders are demanding a seat at Canada's upcoming national health summit but new Indian Affairs Minister Andy Scott said he can't make that promise.
Scott spoke to the Assembly of First Nations on Thursday after being appointed this week. He pledged to consult with Native leaders on issues that affect them.
The health summit, a meeting of federal and provincial leaders, takes place in September.
