The Tribal Law and Policy Institute is wrapping up a training session on helping Indian children who are victims of abuse and neglect.
More than 100 representatives from 12 tribes across the nation attended the two-day session, held in Rapid City, South Dakota. Training focused on integrating tribal culture into the treatment of traumatized children.
The Oglala Sioux Tribe hosted the event.
