Two candidates who were disqualified from tomorrow's Blackfeet Nation general election have filed a lawsuit in federal court seeking to stop the election.

Four seats are up for grabs in the election. But Long Standing Bear Chief, also known as Harold E. Gray, and William "Bill" Old Chief, say they were wrongly excluded from competing for failing to meet the tribe's residency requirements. A third disqualified candidate was also named.

About half of the tribe's 11,000 voters are expected to turn out to the polls tomorrow.
