The Saskatchewan Commission on First Nations and Metis Peoples and Justice Reform issued its final report on Monday.
The report makes 122 recommendations to improve the justice system for Native people. It calls for sensitivity training, more recruiting of Native police officers and alternative sentencing for Natives.
The commission was created after police officers in Saskatoon dumped a Native man on the outskirts of town in freezing weather.
A copy of the report can be found at www.justicereformcomm.sk.ca.
