A former First Nations chief running for political office in Alberta has been the target of racially-tinged vandalism.
Liberal candidate Joe Dion's signs have been defaced with the words "Indians F.U., Conservatives rule," according to CBC News. He has filed a complaint with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Dion is running for a district with a 10 percent Native population. His opponent is a Conservative who allegedly once said Natives were conquered people.
