"Last week, Gov. Bill Owens rejected the so-called "settlement proposal" by the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma, which basically sought his OK for expanded casino gambling in Colorado.
Even with the lure of $1 billion dangled by the promoters, the governor didn't get sucked into the deal. We applaud his call."
