The community center of the Coquille Tribe of Oregon and the Nike Native American Employee Network wants to get kids more active at a free golf clinic in July.
The community center hopes to double the turnout from last year's event, when 60 kids participated. About 30 Nike employees are volunteering and Nike is providing cash donations, prize donations and other fund-raising assistance.
After the golf clinic, there will be a golf tournament for kids and adults. The event takes place July 9-11.
