The Run for the Wall motorcycle ride to the Vietnam Veterans memorial in Washington, D.C., will make a stop on the Navajo Reservation on May 20.
The group will be joined by Rolling Thunder, another veterans organization, to honor Native Americans who have been killed on duty. Spc. Lori Ann Piestewa, Pfc. Sheldon Hawk Eagle, and Sgt. Lee Duane Todacheene were killed in action in Iraq. Spc. Clint Lamebear was murdered by fellow soldiers while stationed in Germany.
Also, Rolling Thunder will be dedicating its first Native American chapter on the Navajo Reservation.
Rolling Thunder is a ride to the Pentagon that ends on Memorial Day.
