The House Financial Services Committee on Thursday approved a bill to replace the image of Sacagawea on the dollar coin with images of U.S. presidents.
The measure was designed to boost sales of the coin. But Tex Hall, the chairman of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation of North Dakota, and two senators say they oppose the change.
The bill goes to the House for consideration.
