Reservation teen had high blood-alcohol level

A 15-year-old boy from the Flathead Reservation in Montana had a blood-alcohol level five times the legal limit, according to published reports.

Joseph DuMontier Jr. died May 1. The autopsy report said he had a blood alcohol level of 0.394. The state's limit is 0.08.

DuMontier is the fourth alcohol-related death on the reservation. Two 11-year-old boys died of alcohol consumption and exposure in March. The teens were members of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes.
