The board of the Alaska Federation of Natives is voting this week to consider moving its annual convention from Anchorage to Juneau in 2005.
AFN formed a committee to consider possible alternatives to Anchorage, where the convention has been held in recent years.
The committee received bids from Fairbanks, Anchorage and Juneau, and recommended Fairbanks.
The AFN convention is the state's largest convention.
