Relatives of Jim Reed, a Navajo man killed in a hit and run accident involving a Catholic bishop, want the maximum punishment for their loss.

Bishop Thomas J. O'Brien faces 45 months for leaving the scene of a crime. He was convicted by a jury on Tuesday.

Catholic Navajos say O'Brien and the Catholic Diocese in Phoenix to make a formal apology for Reed's death. One man said O'Brien should serve time in Tuba City on the Navajo Reservation.
