Members of the Birch Narrows Dene Nation of Saskatchewan voted their chief and council out of office on Sunday and blocked access to the tribal headquarters.
Protesters say their leaders are not accountable. They are allowing tribal employees to work on
health and education programs but say they won't led the chief and council back in.
The dispute stems from a fishing lodge that was built using tribal money. Members say they are being denied information about the lodge.
