Members of the Tulalip Tribes of Washington are hoping to land jobs in the construction industry.
The tribe and Edmonds Community College offer a 14-week construction training program.
Students of all ages learn about equipment, plumbing, electricity and other subjects.
The tribe is attracting large developers, providing opportunities for those who want to work. An outlet mall is on the way and the tribe is considering other projects, such as a hotel, a water theme park, a recreational-vehicle park and a golf course.
