Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe chief executive Melanie Benjamin delivered the State of the Band address on Tuesday.
According to The St. Cloud Press, Benjamin focused on preservation and pride in tribal culture. She is planning a meeting to bring tribal members together to make decisions on community issues and to build cultural connections among reservation and urban tribal members.
