Helen Klassen has resigned as president of the White Earth Tribal and Community College on the White Earth Reservation in Minnesota.
Klassen will pursue a teaching career at Minnesota State University in Moorehead, the Associated Press reported.
Klassen was at the center of a inter-tribal dispute last spring. She was fired by the tribal council but a tribal judge reinstated her.
