Heather Keeler, a citizen of the Yankton Sioux Tribe, will be joining the Minnesota Legislature after a victory on election day.

Keeler, a Democrat, won election to State House District 4A.  She defeated Republican Edwin Dale Hahn by a margin of 57 percent to 43 percent, according to unofficial results.

“I’m so humbled and honored that my community trusts and believes in me,” Keeler wrote on social media on November 4, 2020. “Together we will accomplish so much.”
