“COVID-19 cases have increased in the entire southwest region in all of the border towns and cities near and around the Navajo Nation,” said President Jonathan Nez.
“If you feel sick or have a fever, cough, body aches, sore throat, or other symptoms related to COVID-19, please isolate yourself, do not go into public places, and get tested as soon as you can,” said Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez.
The Navajo Nation reported 16 new COVID-19 cases, totaling 55,217 as of June 14, 2022. Two coronavirus deaths bring losses to 1,800 on the largest reservation in the United States.
