Bryan Brewer, a former president of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, and Michael Patrick O'Connor, a citizen of the Yankton Sioux Tribe, joined Indianz.Com for a live broadcast on July 3, 2020.

In part three of the broadcast, Brewer discussed efforts to protect coronavirus checkpoints on the Pine Ridge Reservation during President Donald Trump's visit to the sacred Paha Sapa (Black Hills) in South Dakota.

O'Connor was stationed at a protest site in Keystone, not far from Mount Rushmore, where Trump oversaw a fireworks display on land promised to the Sioux Nation by treaty.
