Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-Washington) asked Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin about the full $8 billion coronavirus relief fund promised to tribal governments to help them get through the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Can you tell me when the $8 billion for tribal governments will be distributed?" Cantwell asked at a hearing of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship on June 10, 2020.

"Tomorrow," Mnuchin responded.

Cantwell pushed back, wanting to be sure about the answer.

"Actually, maybe Friday," Mnuchin said. "I apologize. It's either tomorrow or Friday."
