CARES Act #Coronavirus Relief for Indian Country

President Donald Trump offers remarks about H.R.748, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, and signs the CARES Act into law at the White House on March 27, 2020.

Trump said the new law includes "$45 billion for the Disaster Relief Fund, supporting our state, local, and tribal leaders."

In addition to an $8 billion tribal government relief fund, the CARES Act infuses $2 billion into federal agencies that serve tribes and their communities.
