Native activists and others held a rally on September 12, 2019, in Omaha, Nebraska, to show support for Micah Taylor. Taylor is a 20-year-old Santee Sioux man who was sentenced to 30-50 years in prison for an incident in which he was shot in the back of the neck by a police officer.
