Letter: Narragansett Tribe should be ashamed

"The Narragansetts decided a confrontation was more advantageous than waiting for a court appearance. The decision to open the smoke shop in violation of the law and inform the state of the "possibility of problems," should the police interfere, forced the governor and state police to their action -- action that was far more restrained than I could ever imagine.

This was a media event for which Chief Sachem Matthew Thomas and the tribe should be most ashamed."

All Indian hunters must follow the rule of the game. that includes the all officials in the state of R.I. These national rules are set by the federal government for centuries.THE FIRST
is to attack the helpless Tribes and take all they have with a promise of food if that don't work put an official in the Tribal government that will sell out their Tribe, but today thanks to the National Indian Gaming act the American Some Indian Tribes are benifitting from this National Act. These Tribes are able to defend themself and creat new rules on hunting American Indians
