The dance group is based in Anchorage, Alaska. Its members are Cup’ik from the Kashunamiut Tribe, also known as the Chevak Native Village. The tribal community is located in the Yukon-Kuskokwim region of Alaska.
The summit took place over two days at the headquarters of the Department of the Interior in Washington, D.C.
