The Cherokee Nation, the Morongo Band of Mission Indians, the Oneida Nation and the Quinault Nation have been active participants in Haaland v. Brackeen, a long-running dispute over the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA). Their leaders spoke following the three-plus hours of argument in the case.
