On Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. ET via WebEx and in 1324 Longworth HOB Hearing Room and livestreamed on the Committee’s YouTube page, the Committee on Natural Resources will meet to consider the following bills:

On Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. ET via WebEx and in 1324 Longworth HOB Hearing Room and livestreamed on the Committee’s YouTube page, the Committee on Natural Resources will meet to consider the following bills:
- H.R.1638, the Gilt Edge Mine Conveyance Act. The bill directs the Secretary of Agriculture to transfer certain National Forest System land to the State of South Dakota.
- H.R.3587, the Requirements, Expectations, and Standard Procedures for Effective Consultation with Tribes Act, also known as the RESPECT Act. The bill requires federal agencies to consult with tribes on actions that affect tribes and their interests. A hearing on the draft discussion version of the measure took place before the House Subcommittee for Indigenous Peoples of the United States on May 20, 2021.
- H.R.5093, the Wind River Administrative Site Conveyance Act.. The bill directs the Secretary of Agriculture to transfer certain National Forest System land to Skamania County in Washington.
