In case you missed it, Chief Executive Melanie Benjamin of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe was featured earlier this month at the White House Tribal Nations Summit “Native American Education and Native Languages” panel. Chief Benjamin serves as the Secretary of the Board for NAFOA.
