Native Sun News Today: Black Hills Powwow cancelled until 2021

RAPID CITY - The BHPWA Board of Directors, formally announced the postponement of this year’s 34th Annual He Sapa Wacipi Na Oskate scheduled for October 9-11, 2020, at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. They announced that it was most important to keep dancers, singers, and powwow community safe in these troubling times.

The board said it will be planning and organizing the most amazing powwow the Black Hills and ancestors has ever seen! The dates for 2021 will be October 8-10,
