Get ready to listen (and watch and maybe dance) to the mega-popular
"Baby Shark" song in the Dine language.
The
Navajo Nation Museum is hosting auditions for the first Native language version of the song that you've heard everywhere. Voice actors -- men, women and children -- are being sought for the roles of Baby Shark, Mommy Shark, Daddy Shark, Grandma Shark and Grandpa Shark.
"The Navajo version of ‘Baby Shark’ will be based on
Pinkfong’s global hit song about a family of sharks, which has climbed the charts and connected with fans around the globe,' a
post on social media read.
The auditions take place from 12pm-5pm Navajo time this Sunday, December 8, at the museum in Window Rock, Arizona,
